Iittala can be easily reached by both train and car. Commuter trains from both Tampere and Helsinki stop at the Iittala train station which is only 700 m away from the centre of Iittala Village. You can find timetables on vr.fi/en. Local buses stop less than 500 m away, and there is plenty of toll-free parking space in Iittala Village (Address: Könnölänmäentie 2, 14500 Iittala).
Iittala Village is about a 2 km ride from the Helsinki-Tampere road (road no 3/E12). Take the exit to “Iittala”, and from the village center follow the directions to ”Iittalan lasimäki”. We are at a distance of 118 km from Helsinki, 25 km from Hämeenlinna, and 55 km from Tampere.
Open all year
Iittala Village is open all year round, though the exact opening hours of individual shops and exhibitions may slightly vary. They can be found on the individual sites of the businesses.
From the parking area, you can find an accessible way to the courtyard area on the left hand side of the white building. The destination area is not completely accessible but Iittala Outlet, Boutique Pässinpää, Kultasuklaa and Pukimo POP UP are all accessible. Design Museum Iittala and the Iittala Centre of Naive Art are partly accessible.
An accessible toilet / nursery room is situated in the red building of Pukimo POP UP.
