The traditional Iittala Glass Museum showcases a wide selection of glass items, ranging from significant serial products to unique art pieces. The museum is part of The Finnish Glass Museum, a museum with national responsibility focusing on glass design and the history of glass.
In the museum, which was founded back in 1971, it is possible to get to know both the history of the Iittala Glass Factory as well as their current production by visiting the main exhibition. The changing exhibitions at the museum display both older and newer glass designs. In addition, the second floor of the museum features a sales gallery for unique pieces made by Iittala’s very own glassblowers during their free time.
